Elf Raises $53,000 on 2008 Home Theater Cruise

The Elf Foundation’s Live Auction fund raiser aboard the 2008 Home Theater Cruise that sailed the first week of June raised over $53,000 with support from corporate sponsors that included Runco International, Stewart Filmscreen, Sencore, Noble Fidelity,Wolf Cinema and JVC. The Elf Foundation’s Live Auction fund raiser aboard the 2008 Home Theater Cruise raised over $63,000 with support from corporate sponsors that included Runco International, Stewart Filmscreen, Sencore, Noble Fidelity,Wolf Cinema and JVC.

The one week long cruise toured southeastern Alaska and was roundly applauded by patrons for the scenery and on-board home theater industry conferences conducted each day at sea.

The highlight of the auction was Bill & Ann Hoffman and Gil & Ann Jullien each bidding $9,000 for the opportunity for an exciting weekend in Los Angeles that includes dinner with Joe Kane and Hollywood film industry principals for a behind-the-scene look at how movies are actually made. Russ & Liza Pritchard of The Audiowarehouse in Charleston, S.C. were the high bidders on the another one-of-a-kind auction item – a private concert for their personal friends with jazz singer and recording artist Nicole Henry.
