Elf Foundation Names "Volunteers' of the Year"; at CEDIA EXPO 2004

Charity foundation that builds "Rooms of Magic" private screening rooms in Children's Hospitals salutes key industry supporters

September 11, 2004 - Hollywood, CA

The Elf Foundation presented its annual Volunteer of the Year award to three key supporters of the charity's missionóbuilding "Rooms of Magic" in Children's hospitals throughout the United States. Alex Nicholson and Brian Warford of Nicholson's Hi-Fidelity, Brian Shea from XM Satellite Radio and Don Stewart and Tom Stewart of Stewart Filmscreen Corporation were honored at the annual CEDIA Expo Awards Banquet in Indianapolis.

Alex Nicholson and Brian Warford of Nicholson's Hi-Fidelity were awarded the Elf Foundation Volunteer of the Year star for their completion of a 120-seat capacity theater at the new Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. The theater was dedicated on August 17, 2004 with a full-capacity crowd of awed children and their parents. "We are thrilled to receive this award from the Elf Foundation", said Alex Nicholson's, president of Nicholson's Hi-Fidelity, "and we especially appreciate the support of the many manufacturers that donated to the success of the project", he said.

XM Satellite Radio's Brian Shea, Director of Business Development was on hand to accept the award for their donation of product, programming and their creation of fund-raising events for the Elf Foundation. "From the top down, XM is firmly behind the Elf Foundation and their mission", Mr. Shea said. "We are so proud to contribute any way we can to creating the magic of movies and music for a deserving audience", remarked Mr. Shea.

From the start, the Stewart Filmscreen Corporation headed by Don Stewart, President, his brother, Tom Stewart, and the entire company have been dynamic promoters of the Elf Foundation's dealers that require a top-notch film screen for their "Room of Magic".
