Getting Involved with Elf Foundation

In order to continue and to expand the work Elf is doing, we are always in need of contributions and assistance.  Here are some ways that enthusiasts, corporations and others have helped Elf Foundation in the past.

Enthusiasts

What to do with that old gear?  Unfortunately we don’t accept used gear (liability issues, etc.) – but home theater and audio enthusiasts have sold their used gear on Audiogon.com or eBay and then made a charitable, tax-deductible contribution to Elf Foundation.

Corporations

Obviously, we love money.  But there are so many manufacturers in the C.E. world that if everyone donated one system a year (one 5.1 speaker system or one plasma display, etc.) we would greatly expand our work.  It’s easy, it’s tax deductible, and it’s the right thing to do!

Dealers

Our entire theater program revolves around the pro bono work of our dealer network.  You’ll be responsible for the design and installation phases of your project, as well as local fund raising where appropriate.  Elf gets the gear.  Contact the home office directly.

Media

Our media partners place PSA ads for the foundation.  They also put on events to raise funds for the foundation.  We have lots of great ideas for cross-promotional opportunities.

Organizations

We have successfully worked within our own industry organizations, as well as other charity groups to enhance our mutual goals.  Music, film, theater – these are the uses for our venues and we welcome collaborative initiatives with other like-minded groups.

Advocates

We call them – Special Elves – a title designating someone who supports the Elf Foundation in special ways and for special purposes.  Advocating our message and rallying people to our cause, this and more earns one the right to this special moniker.
